I registered with MTL (Market Truths Limited) months ago and this is the first survey I’ve received in that period as well. The survey pays 100L$ upon completion and it’s very easy to do too.
For this survey, they asked about Second Life’s Voice Chat. It took me less than a minute to answer all of […]
A few days ago I received an e-mail from Franks Martinek about their research panel in Second Life called eLab City Panel for the University of California (Riverside). Currently, they are looking for members to build up a panel of future research participants and that they will pay each resident who signs up 100L$.
It sounded […]
If you are a First Opinions Panel member and you completed the survey which was sent last January 5th, 2008 then I’m happy to say that Andy Evans just announced that payment is now available….

Eventhough I don’t get many survey invitations from First Opinions Panel, I still continue to earn some linden dollars from them and that’s through referring people. Just recently, I…

Back at Sony & BMG Island, there is an avatar named Connor Tomorrow which was a Survey Bot for SL (Second Life) Reasearch Group. It was conducting a survey on Real Life brands and in that particular case the brand was Sony & BMG. Those who’ll take the survey will be eligible to a draw where a total of 25,000L$ will be given away.
Taking the survey was easy, you just need to send an Instant Message to Connor Tomorrow and say SURVEY (all caps). It will activate him and he will give you all the details regarding the survey like who is conducting it and the breakdown of prizes.
25,000L$ is very encouraging so I took the survey and it only took a couple of minutes. It basically just asked questions about Sony & BMG, it’s artist, the island, etc. So, it wouldn’t be so difficult and I might even win some Linden Dollars from it.
I also searched for SL Research Group and they do exist. I even visited their in-world office.
There was really nothing to see there but at least I’ll know where to check if I’ve won or not. LOL!
If you are not doing anything important then why not take this survey. It’ll only take a few minutes of your Second Life and it’ll give you a chance to win some big bucks. Not only that, surveys like these are used by real life businesses to gauge how good or bad their service or brand is and hopefully improves it. Goodluck!
Update: It is different from First Opinions Panel, Reperes-Second Life and MTL because it does not require you to join their research panel and the survey is conducted in-world through instant messages.
The survey bot Connor Tomorrow is located at Sony & BMG Island, Media (113, 113, 21).
Remember the 700L$ Reperes-Second Life survey? The survey required respondents to visit 1 Real Life brand’s island or sim from their given list. I chose to visit Sony & BMG Island and while I was there I took a video of my visit.
The survey also required respondents to submit 2 or 3 screenshots and so I did. I took 2 screenshots and submitted them to Reperes-Second Life and today I received the second part of the survey and completed it. In 10 days I’ll be 700L$ richer. LOL!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my simple video of my visit to Sony & BMG Island.
Reperes-Second Life is again sending out survey invites to their members. Their latest survey which I received a few days ago is worth 700L$.
Hey! That’s a lot of Linden Dollars for a spending a few minutes of your gaming time answering a simple survey and the best thing about it is that you don’t have to login to answer them. You complete these surveys from your browsers but you get paid with Linden Dollars in-world.
With all the news of Mario relating to politics this week, we have to speculate that our favorite Italian plumber (as opposed to the millions of other Italian plumbers you know) is currently aiming for the position of World Dictator. As it stands, it seems that pretty much everyone would be okay with that.
According to a Zogby poll, the games of choice for conservatives are Madden and Mario, while liberals like Mario and The Sims. See the common denominator? Even middle-of-the-road folks love him, choosing mostly to play Mario, Donkey Kong, and Madden.
We don't know how reliable a poll like this is (as Game Politics points out, where are all the Halo players?), but one thing is certain: the people love their Mario.
Suddenly, the term "Mario Party" seems to have taken on a whole new meaning.
Nintendo of Canada commissioned a survey (for bragging rights, perhaps?) to find out whether Mario or Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper was more recognizable. The winner? Yep, our favorite plumber.
In the cities of Toronto, Calgary (where Harper was a Member of Parliament), and Halifax, more people could identify Mario's picture than Harper's picture. On the one hand, it's not surprising that everyone seems to know Nintendo's icon. On the other hand, however, it's embarassing for the human race in general that we can identify more with a fictional (albeit lovable) character more than our world leaders.
So, what did Nintendo of Canada have to say on the issue? The company's general manager Ron Bertram responded, "Canadian politicians are lucky Mario doesn't have his Canadian citizenship and could campaign for office." Oh, snap! Hear that, Mr. Harper? You may want to fire your campaign team and hire Nintendo's PR sector instead.
