To complete my new outfit, I also need to find and buy a new pair of shoes and eyeglasses so again I hit search. I first searched for a pair of formal shoes though I easily found some shops but their shoes wasn’t really that good for the price they are offering. My search led me to SF Designs and there I found a very nice looking pair of shoes called SFD Tripper Lace Ups. It’s only 200L$ and it looks really nice. There were 3 sizes (small, medium and large) so to make sure that it fits my avatars appearance I tried the demo first and the medium size fits perfectly.
For the eyeglasses, I went to the shop that loaded fast, the ones I first went to took a lot of time to rez, and that was the primOptic shop. The eyeglasses are scripted but I don’t see myself using any of its many features.
I guess that will conclude my personal shopping for the moment and my tip to everyone, if there is a demo version of the item you wish to buy then don’t hesitate to try the demo first because it will save you linden dollars. It’s very disappointing to buy something then upon wearing it you’ll see that the item doesn’t look good on you! So always remember to try before you buy!

A few days ago I tried my hands on doing some cutouts. Cutouts are images, pictures or photos that were carefully and cleanly (at least some are) cut around its edge, uploaded as a texture and placed on a prim. They are mainly used as decorations. I got the idea from AlphaQ Kidd who used to have a vendor at 3 Stars and a Sun.
This is not the first time I’ve created cutouts. I’ve been doing cutouts for some time now but all the cutouts I made before were all for my personal use.
Yesterday, I created 4 cutouts and they are all for decorative purpose only. You can use these cutouts to decorate your place (home, office, mall, shop, garden, beach, park, etc.) in Second Life. They are MOD/COPY so you can easily create more copies and change or modify their size and shape. You can even link them together or add your own script.
The one below was made a few days earlier. I used it to decorate 3 Stars and a Sun for Halloween but later decided to sell it cheap as a The Otso item.

I haven’t built any buildings in the last few weeks because I was and still am experiencing some major lag in-world but today I took some time to try and build something. As always, Second Life was a little laggy but that didn’t stop me. I went 500 meters up in the sky while sitting on a small block, created a platform to work on and started building some low prim structures. In building, I try to keep the prims used to a minimum. Prims are very important, the more prims you save in one object gives you more prims for other objects you might need. Oh, I forgot to mention that I do most of my building at my place, 3 Stars and a Sun.
I was able to build 3 and here are some snapshots:
I was able to keep the prim count from 8 to 14 prims thus giving you more prims for other objects like vendors, signs, tip jars or whatever object you need to put in your space. If you are interested in them then you can get them at SLExchange and in-world at 3 Stars and a Sun.
