Team Fortress 2 lag on Xbox Live will be fixed. Xbox 360 patch to arrive within days

October 16th, 2007 by supadupagama

Half-Life 2: The Orange Box for Xbox 360Xbox 360 gamers playing Team Fortress 2 online have been having lag issues since the game came out last week. Valve’s included the multiplayer game in their epic Half-Life 2: The Orange Box compilation, but overlooked some serious lag issues on Xbox Live. This issue isn’t a problem for PC gamers. Most complaints are from gamers attempting to participate in more competitive 6v6 or 8v8 matches, where “connection to host lost” messages pop up all the time or playing the game became impossible because of never ending lag.

The developer told 1UP they’ve already finished a title update and sent it to Microsoft. Unlike the PC world, patches are not immediate and fix has to go through Microsoft’s certification process. Valve expects the title update patch will arrive either sometime this weekend or early next week.
