With Monster Hunter 3 (tri) now officially dated for Japan, it’s time for Capcom to step up the hype even more than it already has. Will Monster Hunter be able to turn the Wii’s slowdown around? Only if enough people see this new trailer. The trailer looks really good, is what we’re saying.
It’s not too much of a departure from previous Monster Hunters, but a new, nice-looking series entry, with new controls, new monsters, and new locations, is more than enough for obsessed fans. Check GAME Watch for some pictures of the limited-edition bundle (the one with the DVD, not the one with the Classic Controller Pro), to facilitate your coveting of the rather fancy box it comes in.
We know, we know: You woke up this morning thinking to yourself, “I really need a great way to waste this crisp $90 bill in my pocket, but I don’t know how!” Rest your worried head, friend, because Amazon.com has an answer for you in Punch-Out!! star Little Mac’s Boxing Glove. You read that right — not the game, but a single, signed boxing glove.
Ignoring all reality and allowing for the possibility that a video game character physically signed this $90 glove, this “limited edition” punching package arrives mounted on a 15” x 11” wood frame and ships with an “engraved plate donning the Punch-Out!! logo.” Head right on over to Amazon because supplies are assuredly going to run out … less than quickly. Oh, and just in case we weren’t clear enough initially: Punch-Out!! is not included when this glove becomes available on May 18 alongside the game.
Update: Commenter heyo007 pointed out that Amazon also has a “Heavyweight Contender Kit” as well, in case you were trying to round out your $90 Little Mac signed glove purchase with a $35 “inflatable desktop punching bag, King Hippo crown replica, boxer shorts and Doc Louis’s Remedy chocolate bar” purchase.
