Capcom’s Seth “S-Kill” Killian recently posted footage (found after the break) of a Ranking Battle final at Simi Valley’s Denjin Arcade on the Unity blog, telling fans that the company is still looking for a way to bring the mixed-character fighter to North American shores. The post reaffirms comments made earlier this month by Capcom’s bizdev and strategic planning VP, Christian Svensson, who said Capcom was “actively working” to get the game Stateside. However, nothing is set in stone and it still may never happen. So, who’s starting the online petition?
Medieval England, in celebration of the New Year, hosted a Historical Horseback Tournament. The tournament was sponsored by JTL Design and Armour Stalls. The prize is 200L$ and either a JTL Design weapon or a horse armor from Armour Stalls for the winner of each round. The more rounds a fighter win, the more prizes […]
I was editing my Tiki Pavilions when I received an invite from the God of Rome, mikeD Streeter, to watch the Beast versus Gladiator Tournament at the Colosseum. He teleported me to where he was which at first I didn’t know where because everything was rezzing (appearing/loading) slowly. Well, The Roman Empire sim is a […]
While some of us are hesitant to commit to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom (not because of questions of game quality, but for financial reasons, and concern for the safety of our Wiis), we are quite certain that some of you either
And we are jealous. We’re getting by for now on YouTube combo demonstration videos, but it’s tough going. If you’re now a proud owner of a fighting game about obscure Japanese television characters, let us know! Was this your first time importing? And if you’re holding off on the purchase (and you like Capcom fighting games), is it for the stated reasons or others?

Today I checked my e-mail address where I forward all my Second Life Notices and saw that Medieval England held a Shovel Only FFA (Free For All) Fighting Tournament. What a bummer! I’m not a good fighter, in fact, I never win but I do like competing and recently I’ve entered in a few fighting […]

Jousting Tournament @ ME Today, Medieval England (Medevil England Sim) held a Jousting Tournament….
You’ll have to travel a helluva distance to find somebody who likes the Wiimote and Nunchuk as much as we do, but there’s no getting away from one fact: Nintendo’s unique peripherals weren’t made with intricate, combo-heavy fighting games in mind.
Fortunately, when it comes to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes, Capcom has two solutions. Solución uno: a simplified control scheme whereby a chain combo can be pulled off with a single button press, and special moves don’t require input commands. Solución dos: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom will be compatible with the sleek, delicious slab of plastic that is the Classic Controller for the hardcore set. Not that we’d expect fighting enthusiasts to play this with anything other than a Hori Fighting Stick but, you know.
The fourth day of the 100,000L$ Tournament will be held at Dark Century on October 04, 2008 at exactly 12:00PM SLT (Second Life Time). To prepare Dark Century for the event, the owner of the sim, mikeD Streeter, removed the old arena and replaced it with a much bigger and better one.
The new arena is […]
I went to Scotland Highlands to witness the appointment of two Generals but when I got there it was already over. I was about to go back home when someone shouted that a tournament was about to begin and everyone was invited to participate or watch the fight at the Arena.
I’ve been to Scotland Highlands […]
Another E3 interview with Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi has surfaced, this time from Nintendo World Report. After justifying Castlevania Judgmentyet again, Igarashi gave a tenuous, noncommittal, but still interesting statement regarding future Castlevania games: “With regards to WiiWare, I’m evaluating that right now, and to be honest, I think a 2D Castlevania game on WiiWare might be the right approach.”
He has previously said that he was interested in how things turned out for Mega Man 9, and he has said that WiiWare was an interesting service, but this is the most direct Igarashi has been yet about a WiiWare entry in the franchise. He also confirmed the nature of the Order of Ecclesiaconnection bonus: as we expected, Shanoa is unlocked in Judgment by connecting with a DS running Order of Ecclesia.

Talking about Castlevania is a bit of a cottage industry for Wii Fanboy. Not only do we want the 2Dgames on Wii, we’ve made it happen — though not the amazing Dracula X, which Japan has on VC. We’ve expressed our bemusement about Judgment and tried to gauge yours. In fact, we pretty much bring up Castlevaniawhenever possible.
Dark Century is coming to RPG Empires. It is made up of two sims and it is for those who are into vampires, ghouls, ghost, demons or anything that is dark/devilish in nature. I’m not really familiar with this kind of theme but there are many residents in Second Life who are into it and […]
