December 2nd, 2007 by supadupagama

Super Mario Galaxy for WiiThe past 10 days we’ve given you the chance to win in our Super Mario Galaxy or Assassin’s Creed competition. The task was a simple matter of choosing what game you wanted the most and answering why, it was great everyone explained their answer well. We heartily thank everyone who participated, but of course out of all the answers there could only be one winner…

Tpcool gave a huge explanation why he/she wants to play the game and gets a free copy of Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii!

Congratulations to the winner! Super Mario Galaxy will be sent to you via Amazon as soon as you respond (with your address) to an email that you’ll receive shortly.

Celebrate 2 years of VGB: Win Super Mario Galaxy or Assassin’s Creed!

November 21st, 2007 by supadupagama

Assassin's Creed for Xbox 360 or PS3Super Mario Galaxy for WiiVGB is celebrating its second birthday today! There’s no better way to do this than by giving away a present to a lucky reader. :)

For the past week we ran a poll in the left menu asking you which of the ten new games listed you’d like to win. In the last four days it was tied between Super Mario Galaxy & Assassin’s Creed and ended up with each getting 22% of the 328 votes. As a result this new competition will give the choice to win one or the other. Welcome to our Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) or Assassin’s Creed (Xbox 360, PS3) competition!

You have a chance to win your game of choice for free until November 30th when the competition ends. The next day we’ll order the game from your local Amazon store.

What do you need to do to win? Answer this question: “What game do you want to win, and why do you want that game?” Leave your comment below, the best answer wins! Also, we are sensitive to bday flattery. Just sayin’.

What are the rules? All you have to do is leave a comment with your answer on this page. Fill out your real email so we can contact you if you win (your email will be invisible to other readers, only the site staff can see it). Also, if you won our previous (Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3) contest, then you cannot enter twice in a row, that wouldn’t be fair to all the other participants. Good luck!

The winner of our Halo 3 competition

September 26th, 2007 by supadupagama

Halo 3 for Xbox 360The past week we’ve given you the chance to win in our Halo 3 competition.

We asked the insanely difficult question of what game came out between Halo 1 and Halo 3. We really had no idea the question was that easy (), but all of the nearly 70 contestants got the answer “Halo 2″ right.

We heartily thank everyone who participated, of course out of all the contestants there could be only one winner. We randomly selected the winner by writing all the names on paper, putting them in a bowl and grabbing the winner’s name with our eyes closed. We got a little scared in that moment of darkness thinking the Covenant could flank us, but we picked a winner who will surely finish the fight…

Stuart wins a free copy of “Halo 3.”

Congratulations to the winner! Halo 3 will be sent to you as soon as you respond (with your address) to an email that you’ll receive shortly.

To the others who didn’t win: Next week we’ll give away Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) which is actually 5 games in 1 box!
